This Privacy Policy describes how Pawsona AI ("Pawsona," "we," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website at pawsona.cc(the "Service"). We've tried to keep it short, specific, and honest — no generic copy-paste boilerplate.
1. What we collect
- Pet photos you upload. Stored on our servers (Supabase Storage) and analyzed by AI models to generate your human-style portrait. We retain the original upload so we can re-generate or serve the result page.
- Pet name, type, gender, style, and personality that you select on the Create page. These are stored alongside the generation record.
- Generated images and persona text. The AI output (human portrait, before/after, persona card, social caption) is stored so you can come back to your result page.
- Payment information. When you purchase a pack, the actual card details are collected and processed by Creem (our payment provider). We never see or store your card number — we only receive a confirmation that a payment ID succeeded.
- Email address. Only if you provide it at Creem checkout (to receive a payment receipt).
- Basic technical data. Your IP address, browser type, and pages visited — collected automatically by our hosting platform (Vercel) for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics.
2. What we don't collect
- No user accounts, no passwords.
- No newsletter / marketing list (we don't send marketing email).
- No location tracking beyond approximate country (from IP).
- No third-party advertising trackers, no Google Ads / Facebook Pixel.
3. Why we collect it
- To generate your AI human portrait and IP cards (core product).
- To let you revisit your result page via a unique URL we send to your browser.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To improve the product (aggregated, non-identifying analytics).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
4. Third-party services we use
Pawsona AI is built on top of several infrastructure providers. Each one only receives the minimum data needed:
- Supabase— stores generation records and uploaded photos (data hosted in the project's assigned region).
- Alibaba Cloud DashScope — runs the Qwen-VL vision model (to understand the pet photo) and Wanxiang image model (to generate the human portrait). Your pet photo and selected options are sent to DashScope to perform the generation. Output images are returned via a temporary URL we re-host on Supabase.
- Vercel — hosts the website and serverless functions that run our code.
- Creem— processes payments. Your card details and billing address are submitted directly to Creem; we only receive a webhook telling us "payment X for generation Y succeeded."
5. Where data is stored
Your pet photos and generated images are stored in Supabase Storage, which sits behind a global CDN. The AI processing of your photo happens on Alibaba Cloud servers (currently in mainland China, since that's where the Wanxiang model is hosted). If you live in the EU, UK, or California, this constitutes an international data transfer — by uploading a photo you consent to that transfer for the sole purpose of generating your portrait.
6. How long we keep it
- Uploaded pet photos and generated images: kept indefinitely so you can return to your result page from the link. You can request deletion at any time — see Section 7.
- Payment records: kept for at least 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
- Server access logs: rotated and deleted within 30 days (per Vercel default).
7. Your rights
You can request, at any time, that we:
- Tell you what data we have about you (access)
- Delete your pet photos and generation records (right to erasure)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Refund a recent paid purchase if you believe a privacy mistake occurred
Email support@pawsona.ccwith the generation ID (you'll find it in your result page URL) and we'll respond within 7 days.
8. Cookies and tracking
We use only essential cookies that are required for the site to function (session ID for your current visit, theme preference). We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Vercel automatically sets short-lived analytics cookies for performance measurement (aggregate only, no individual tracking).
9. Children
Pawsona AI is intended for users aged 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has used the service, email us and we'll delete their data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
